The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center (AACRC) is a not-for-profit community mediation center working with individuals, communities, courts and other institutions to manage and resolve conflict by offering mediation, conflict resolution services and training.
In addition to full-time and part-time staff members, the AACRC is supported largely by our Board of Directors, volunteer mediators, and office volunteers.
Our Board of Directors participate in four committees which are integral to our program and administrative services. The members provide management and financial expertise, as well as help with program development and implementation.
We also greatly benefit from the efforts of committee volunteers, office volunteers, and over 30 trained volunteer mediators.
In short, being a part of AACRC is a unique opportunity to be a part of a diverse and well-connected, community-focused team.
The successful applicant for this position will exhibit an interest in mediation, an appreciation of providing service to the local community, and an understanding of the importance of providing effective rehabilitation and skill development for those incarcerated and formerly incarcerated.
