AACRC is here to assist Anne Arundel County residents prevent eviction.
Operation Eviction Intervention is designed to assist Landlords and Tenants by subsidizing rent for tenants who cannot afford to pay rent due to the impact of COVID-19. AACRC has partnered with ACDS (Arundel Community Development Services) to provide mediation services to participating residents.

Conflict Resolution Month
Conflict Resolution Month is upon us. It is a time for members of our community to promote and celebrate peaceful conflict resolution practices. Since 2005, when the Association for Conflict Resolution first established Conflict Resolution Day, Marylanders have marked the day in a variety of ways, including:
- Promoting awareness of mediation, arbitration, conciliation and other creative peaceful means of resolving conflict;
- Promoting the use of conflict resolution in schools, families, businesses, communities, governments, and the legal system;
- Recognizing the significant contributions of (peaceful) conflict resolvers; and
- Creating national synergy by having celebrations happening across the country and around the world on Conflict Resolution Day this October 17th.
Some of the opportunities we offer for participation:
- This month the Maryland Judiciary’s annual Bookmark Art Contest officially starts with all entries due by October 17.
- Attendance Mediation
- In-Service Training (Key Bridge)
- Large Group Facilitation
- Marital Separation
- Run-for-Reentry (CMM)
- Volunteer Interest Meeting
- Volunteer Information Session
- Workplace Mediation
- 26th Annual Fundraiser

We are disappointed to announce that we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Cocktails & Conversation. We will not be holding our FUNdraising event this Thursday (October 28, 2021) as we’d planned. We believe the heightened public health risks outweigh the benefit of meeting in person at this time. We value the health and wellness of our volunteers, constituents, staff, family, friends, and supporters above all. We plan to host an in-person event next year; we’ll announce those plans as soon as we have the details.
We hope you’ll continue to support AACRC and our mission to bring peace to the community. Our services are more in demand than ever, and we are grateful for your support. To make a donation, please visit our DONATIONS page. The health and safety of our community is always, and always will be, our highest priority.
Thank you!
