be involved

We are looking for volunteers who want to support AACRC by joining a Committee or our Board. Our Committee and Board Members help AACRC staff keep the Center running smoothly while we achieve the goals related to our Mission and Vision.

Committee Membership

We ask our Committee members to serve for one year, contributing between 5 and 7 hours per month in the areas of Development and Marketing, Mediation and Programs Support, Outreach, Personnel, and Budget and Finance. For more details on what each of our Committees does, click the button below. We welcome Volunteers to our Committees based on their passion for our Mission, Vision, and commitment to AACRC, though special skills and experience are always appreciated.

Board Membership

Board Members serve 3-year terms, dedicating between 5 and 10 hours per month in service to AACRC. The Board meets six times a year in Annapolis, prior to COVID, and currently virtually only. The Board does three things: 1) makes sure that AACRC has enough money and resources to achieve our goals; 2) makes sure we are on the right path to accomplish our Mission and Vision; and 3) as a group, supervises the AACRC Executive Director. We ask that each Board Member make a yearly financial contribution according to their means. A financial contribution can also be in the form of raising money on behalf of the center.  In addition, each Board Member chairs or joins a Committee of their choice.

If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member or Board Member, please take 10 minutes or so to fill out the application below.
